• 100% Society Ownership: Your society retains 100% ownership of all its data.
• Resident Privacy Controls: Residents have full control over their personal privacy and can choose to hide their phone numbers and email addresses from the general society directory.
• Role-Based Access: We enforce strict role-based access control, ensuring that sensitive financial data is only visible to authorized personnel (e.g., Admins, Accountants), while security guards only see the visitor data necessary to perform their duties.

We collect information necessary to provide seamless society management and security services:

• Personal Information: Names, phone numbers, email addresses, and unit/flat details of residents and committee members.
• Vehicle Data: Vehicle numbers linked to flat owners for parking management.
• Financial Data: Maintenance billing records, payment history, and society ledger entries. Payment transactions are processed via secure, RBI-compliant payment gateways.
• Visitor & Staff Logs: Details of expected guests, temporary gatepass codes, and attendance logs for daily staff (maids, drivers, etc.).

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data strictly to operate the Faliyu platform, which includes:

• Automating maintenance billing and sending payment reminders.
• Facilitating 1-tap visitor approvals, pre-approved entry codes, and instant push notifications.
• Managing helpdesk ticketing for plumbing, electrical, or common area issues.
• Running secure community polls and maintaining a digital notice board.
• Triggering instant SOS emergency alerts to guards and designated committee members.

4. Data Security & Encryption

Security is our foundational priority. We implement robust measures to protect your information:

• Encryption: We use bank-grade 256-bit cloud encryption (AES-256) to ensure that financial records, resident phone numbers, and visitor logs are strictly secure.
• No Third-Party Selling: Faliyu does not share or sell your data to third-party marketing agencies. We provide a 100% ad-free experience.

5. Data Retention and Export

• Data Export: Before canceling a subscription, the Society Admin can securely export all resident data, ledgers, and financial reports in standard Excel/CSV formats.
• Data Deletion: Upon cancellation, the society retains all its records, and we will safely remove the data from our active servers as per our retention policies.

6. Third-Party Integrations

While Faliyu handles your core data securely, we integrate with secure third-party services to facilitate core functions:

• Payment Gateways: We integrate with Stripe, Razorpay, and PayPal (as well as UPI, NetBanking, and credit/debit cards) to process maintenance payments securely.
• Communication Services: We utilize third-party SMS, WhatsApp, and email (e.g., Brevo) services to dispatch automated payment reminders and notices.
